  • @canaydemedian The Confederate military did not have a powerful navy force. It wasn't even well-advanced when it comes to industrialization. The South only had one battleship(Merrimack) which was normally a wooden ship with iron clads on it. The first submarine was invented by the North, and was used to prevent all importation and exportation that would benefit the South.

  • That's one big WE FINISHED SECOND IN THE CIVIL WAR flag. lolololol

  • There you go KEEP UM FLYIN

  • i want that to fly on my bronco

  • this is in lake city florida

  • @todddoom Good info, thanks! So the Emancipation Proclamation applied only to the Confederate States- one of those unflattering facts they didn't tell us in high school. Reminds me of the movie 'Glory', where Denzel Washington's character says to the Colonel "And we all caught up in it, ain't nobody clean."

  • @mookins45 Maryland and the district of Columbia had slavery all through the war and they never joined the Confederacy. Missouri and Kentucky never officially joined the confederacy and where slave states. Virgina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas didn't join the Confederacy until Lincoln called for 75,000 men to put down the rebellion. Those 4 states said they wouldn't raise armies to go fight the southerners. Do a search for the "Dred Scott" supreme court sometime.

  • @todddoom There was no Federal law against slavery till 1865, but State laws made it illegal outside those States that later formed the Confederacy, if I'm wrong about that, let me know- I don't mind learning new things.

  • @mookins45 What the hell are you talking about? Slavery was legal in the US from 1776 until 1865. And then racial discrimination was legal for another 90 years. This is why the Confederate Flag is so misunderstood. So many people know so little about history.

  • the south is not rascit yall get use to it
