I love watching the COD come in for a landing. Note how the aircraft bounces when it hits the deck.

  • Didn't watch it all - clip the first minute out and call me. It's called "editing".

  • @dave0mary Why not watch the entire process of how a C-2 lands on an aircraft carrier instead? It's called "flight ops" to us that don't live life one sound bite at a time.

  • @a8127 Who doesn't? the Allison T-56 is one of the most famous Turboprop engin=es ever put on the wing of an aircraft.

  • It pisses me off to see a plane with sych potential to be an arial refueler and ac gunship platform intead it only carries mail it just bothers me

  • @stalkingalizee yeah but we shoulda gave you more.

  • slide into park position

  • I was in VRC_50 out of cubi pt. from 72-75 and was a loadmaster

  • This pilot was a rookie, and by rookie i mean he had less than 6 daylight landings, fucking spot on this shows how hard the navy trains pilots for carrier ops.

  • Thats the sound I remember, I served in VRC-40 from 85-87 we phased out the C-1 and brought in the C-2 AMS3 Aherne Norfolk, VA. Thanks for the video!

  • I love that sound. Hearing the COD on approach and snag the 3rd wire.
