This pilot was a rookie, and by rookie i mean he had less than 6 daylight landings, fucking spot on this shows how hard the navy trains pilots for carrier ops.

Thats the sound I remember, I served in VRC-40 from 85-87 we phased out the C-1 and brought in the C-2 AMS3 Aherne Norfolk, VA. Thanks for the video!

@dave0mary Why not watch the entire process of how a C-2 lands on an aircraft carrier instead? It's called "flight ops" to us that don't live life one sound bite at a time.
