Some might say the brightest flame burns the quickest and although ten years is more than a lifetime when it comes to music, the truth is that TeNPel still holds the esteemed distinction as being one of those bands revitalizing the foundations of Spanish rock music.

Since their strong debut with "Areté Despierta", the past year marks the band's tenth birthday - a decade that has seen these six spaniards break remarkable new ground, from guest appearances in festivals across the country, numerous tours alongside the likes of grunge legends Pearl Jam and flamenco rockers ill Niño, to performing with bands like God Forbid and Lordi. Over the years TeNPel has continued to solidify their fanbase, thus proving they have real staying power. An antidote to today's overpopulated music scene brought to you by non-coloured rockers, TeNPel are heroes capable of delivering a timeless melody that alternates between the fierceness of Cold and the loneliness behind Alter Bridge riffs. They make every single chord, every single part, a memorable moment.

Produced by Carlos Santos (Dulcamara, Adrift, Avenues & Silhouettes) and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Children of Bodom,...), TeNPel's new opus, "Una increíble verdad", contains a barrage of catchy material. Opening track "La verdadera historia" is at once the heaviest and most personal song in this band's arsenal, quickly followed by "Mi alma blanca", which emphasizes their more melancholic roots and demonstrates just how vibrant and exciting the spanish can be. Destined to take no prisoners end track "El dolorosa" strikes back with a crescendo and leaves you shivering while vocalist Kantz screams "duerme negrito"... a thrilling lullaby.
