No, he was Gods favorite creation, until God made man, so Satan, being full of himself challenged God. God never gave us free will, if that was the case he'd see the good in us and wouldn't condemn all of his children, born all over the world and raised with different beliefs, to suffer. What about people living in the amazon who've never heard of Jesus? When they die they're going to burn? God put them there, he knows they're there... but still makes them burn in agony in hell?
