Pokemon Sapphire's Elite Four sucked

Compared to all other Elite Fours on other cartridges, these guys were easy. I only needed two Pokemon, Gardevoir and Blaziken, to not only complete the main story (aside from HM slaves), but also to kill the entire Elite Four + Champion. Both started below Level 60 before the fights.

So really, I got through these five battles with two Pokemon, two Ethers, and a Soda Pop to heal Blaziken out of battle. I was paranoid.

By the way, I named the female trainer after my female alias in Ragnarok Online, Fluorite...except that the name didn't fit, so it ended up being "Fluorit". Yes, that would be pronounced the same way as, "Floor it".

Strategies:

Sidney:
-Kick his dogs, kick his plants, and kick his shark. Yeah, that's about it.

Phoebe:
-Cheap Hypnosis + Calm Mind, then Psychic everything. Except the last Ghost, which is Dark type...so kick her Ghost.

Glacia:
-No strategy other than Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut.

Drake:
-Same strategy as Phoebe's.

Steven:
-Have Blaziken kill as much as possible before Gardevoir has to come in. I wanted Blaziken to die, because dammit, Gardevoir has my Amulet Coin equipped (which doubles the amount of money I get for winning Trainer battles).

1st time I died at Glacia and I did not feel like using kyogre

So my team consisted of 3 Hm slaves and 3 underleveled pokemon in their high 40's

Luckily I saved and remembered that I had all those rare candies I never used. Swampert was then at level 60 and I was kicking some serious ass.
