Elton John "Someone Saved My Life Tonight"

Isn't it amazing that radio only plays the same 4 or 5 Elton songs....over and over again .....and that's it. It's as if Elton only had 4 great songs. Meanwhile....he's sung over a 100 songs...just as good....or better....than the same ones they always play on radio. Another thing.....that I never see here mentioned. That is......how great a voice Elton has. I mean ...just listening to his voice...as he sang in the 1970;s....is just phenomenal.

Kanye cant compose music like this, he just samples music loops it puts a beat behind it and spits his lil montone ego raps in your fat faces

so are u saying ppl that make collages arent artists? cuz thats basically what sampling is ...its a musical collage...i think it takes more talent to take something someones done and create something totally different....Oh yea and im assuming your against artists doing covers too since covers are a basic rip off of the original. without much differentiation

Elton is unique and a legend indeed. I enjoy many songs of his. Thanks Elton for the good ole school days memories.

I will agree that they worked a little closer together on "Captain Fantastic" since it was meant to be autobiographical. However, I can find no corroborating comments by either Bernie or Elton that they changed their style of composing for this album. Indeed, Bernie states he has never even met this woman in several interviews. I know they are tough to find but if you can post an interview or point me to an article where Bernie says differently I'd be glad to look at it.
