  • Just a tip; if the pain is from a posteriorly bulging disc, the flexion stretch you showed could worsen it, especially if done in the a.m.. Disc's imbibe fluids during the evening to obtain nutrients, so this exercise becomes even more dangerous. If the person can do this and is no worse as a result, then he/she may be ok. It also depends upon the stage of healing.
