@e0o9kii the question you should be asking is where was the Filipinos instead of talking the English and commonwealth down, why should they liberate you?
-
@e0o9kii ok australia was under controll of the british so we had to go to north africa and had to surrender in singapore how do i know this i had 3 uncles, and my grampa were in ww2

@rawrghblarghwaurgh We saved their ass in WW2. They'll save ours in WW3. :)

@alexicon89 its more like the other wat around. without the UK and US poking hitler in the back, ussr wouldnt have stood a chance. remember, the average deaths of Germans to soviet soldiers was 1:4. in other words, they were getting their asses whooped. and if they did manage to overcome Germany, the italians and Japanese were just as much, if not more, of a threat than Germany due to their superpowerful navies. USSR would have no supplies reaching them.

This is my country's true national song.

As a British citizen I, for one, am grateful. And do not forget.
As an American I see the UK as a brother we might not get along with. Sure we may tease or argue, but if shit really hits the fan we would take a bullet for the other.

@Neoquestmoo The Americans are heroes. I am Filipino and when the Japayukis (Japan) invaded us in 1941, America was the only Allied country to liberate us. 39,000+ Filipino and American soldiers died to protect the Philippines.
Where was the English, Aussies and Canadians? English were surrendering in Singapore, Aussies were in North Africa and Canadians were somewhere else.
If not for USA, we Pinoys would still be fighting in insurgent type war against Japayukis.
