Im curious as to why the piano is not wrapped up. Cold is hard on a piano! And if it were wrapped up it wouldnt get scratched should something have happened.

What should happen? These are horror stories. This piano is on its way from one concert to the next, is regularly tuned and it has been around for decades. Professional piano shippers make no scratches to the piano.
And who is inexperienced, should not bear a piano even if it is wrapped.
