Read a review of the VW Passat vs the Skoda Superb: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/grouptests/262531/new_vw_passat_vs_sk...

The family car sector has come under fire in recent years, with buyers abandoning traditional saloons, hatchbacks and estates in favour of SUVs, MPVs and premium models.

However, VW is keeping faith and has just launched a new version of its long-serving Passat, which is now entering its seventh generation. Bosses have been careful not to mess with the hugely successful Passat formula, so the newcomer doesn't look much different to its five-year-old predecessor.

  • Buy a Skoda Superb instead - much better than all these 3 put together :-)

  • @WalkerPryceCompany Actually, Skoda are owned by VW, they aren't just VW's, they happen to do what a lot of companies do and share platforms/parts etc. Skoda has their own factories/styling departments etc etc. The Passat and Superb share a lot of parts but are built by their 2 respective companies.VW don't build Skodas, Skoda build Skodas.Like Audi build Audi and SEAT build SEAT, even though they are all part of same VAG group.
