he has very short arms.

I always see him at the St Louis one in Wentzville, I wish I had my camcorder at the last one i went to, he started playing the Imperial March :)

@Bakurarocks Ditto! Talked with him for about an hour!

I've seen this guy up at the Greater St. Louis Renaissance fair. I regretted not bringing more money for the CDs.

It helps to be able to see the patterns on a HD, since most are arranged diatonically. It's easy to produce something that sounds beautiful in a moderate speed. To get Vince's level of accuracy and his ability to answer questions!! requires very much practice, and perhaps superpowers lol

I remeber when he had long hair.

Question: How difficult is hammered dulcimer actually? Don't worry... I am not going to buy one (way too expensive), but it just seems to be very difficult to guess... I mean, you've got a huge number of strings but on the other hand, you've also just to hit them with the hammers, wich means, you don't have to have thaaat skilled finger like on a piano.
Greetings.
He is a joy to speak with and a delight to hear. Thanks for posting this so we can relive the Ren Faire again!

You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
I don't remember why I didn't get the whole song, but I've finally figured out which song it is -- it's called "Gravelwalk"; Vince has a link to an MP3 of it on his website, but the speed is so different it's hard to tell it's the same song.
Since I'm doing more processing now with Marty's songs, I may try again to get better resolution out of this one, too.
Thanks for the comment!
