wow, i miss those in-car cams that were riding in the car looking forward and looking behind..and this was back in the day before those light weight cameras came out! Those cars looked more solid then then they look now. Heck

Most people blamed all these late race wrecks on the pit road rule changes that came after the death of Mike Rich at Atlanta. Since cars were not allowed to change tires under yellow during this race, everyone was riding on worn rubber and these wrecks were the result.
