A great day in my history.....just got my trommel droped off an can't wait t get working on her.

This is a serious trommel! How are you going to get it to your claim?

@applevalleyjoe I'll have to use a flat-deck and skid it off and on.......used a crane truck to get it here but that may be interesting to get it on the claim with so a trailer may work better.......worst case I drop it off where the road is good and then skid it the rest of the way.

What size is the pipe, I'm in the posses in making my own trommel Is there any way you could tell me how wide it is and how long it is. that would help out a lot.

The pipe is 2 1/2 foot by 12 ft.

so what ever come of your TROMMEL ? did you get it to the claim and get her set it and running??? i am building a 12" trommel my self that is going to run off a 2.5hp motor and a 2" 5.5hp pump/motor . to supply the water.. mine will be a lot smaller then yours and portable ... cant wait to see some video of this in action ...

I started building highbankers an have not yet got to work on this trommel.....I'm still collecting the steel I need anyway......it will look A lot diffrent when done........the whole hopper an grizzly will be larger with A much better spray set up.......want to up the yardage an pump the gravel through.......you'll have to put up A video of your trommel when done.......sound's cool :)

Salvage yards, tandem axles, junked dump trucks, add pintle (?) hook on front, weld on, add extra leaf springs if needed?

been following your vids, nice to see a level head. im looking for info on forestry maps or contacts for your area as to history. planning a trip and starting a three year plan this summer.

how'd that drummel work out so far? i see the last post was a year ago. great work, thanks for posting..

Nice Trommel hope you get it running,would like to see it running,I made a 16 inch Trommel thats AWESOME,Hope to have more Video's on mine soon,Im having problems with keeping wheels on mine.
