  • I went to high school with Darrin Hancock. Lets make one thing clear. He was a great player. He did things in high school that only pros were doing at the time. And when i say pros i mean players like Jordan Pippen Drexler etc. His time at Kansas was ok but Kansas was a guard dominated team. Rex and Adonis had the green light on those teams. If he had played at lets say California with J Kidd he would have been an all american. Dont tear the man down he did make the league.

  • @revjdholloway1976 While I agree that Hancock never rose to his potential, he did more than just play in Europe and 10 days for the Hawks. He played 2 years with the Hornets before going from team to team.

  • I was the play-by-play announcer for Darren Hancock's Griffin Bear high school team. The guy used to do things that were unbelieveable. I wish somebody would post some of his high school highlights. I have seen alot of high school basketball in my career. But I have never seen anybody do anything close to what he did back then. He once scored 50points at Vanguard in Ocala, Fl. Jumped over a guys head, hit his head on the rim and dunked with an opposing player grabbing his jersey.

  • Calvin Talfrd played for a couple of months in my city over here in germany in 1997.

He also won the Dunk-competition over here.

Adonis Jordan played one year in Gießen and I can say this guy can ball !

  • I loved Woodbury and Ritchie the ultimate role players.

  • Darrin Hancock is from my home town. He is soooo stupid. He got kicked out of Kansas because he couldn't keep his grades up. He was freshman of the year and should have gone pro. He went on to play in Europe. Later the Atlanta Hawks signed him to a 10 day contract. They wanted to sign him for a longer term but somehow he messed that up. Sad story.

State finals 3-4 times--pure talent. Final Four -- Determination and Hard work. 6ft11in and can't read and write--useless.

  • It was Darrin Hancock dunking. I was there that day.

  • Who's doing that Monster Dunk over the poor guy at 0:41 !!?

I mean I saw a lot of great dunks, but that one is unknown to me! Unbelieveable, reminds me Jerome Lane without the glass shattering!

  • Richie and Woodbury , good role players
