I like how everyone is Disregarding the epic Marvel Match poppin off on the big screen behind them lol

wow look at the way he handles the stick he's so professional!! no spasm, no involuntary movement, he's so accurate so scientific.
-
@StraightSnake Daigo plays on a square as its the Japanese standard. Don't know about Sirlin though.
-
holy crap he is pianoing the crap out of those buttons

Ya watching his hands how fucking amazing, it would have been nicer to just watch the game
-
@lolKbgTgm6621what ohhhhhhhhhhhh, well that would have very similar results as plinking. and im not sure for older SF but for SF4 i imagine plinking and pianoing the same thing or at least one is a version of the other with a different purpose
-
@speedsterh No, it's not. Double/triple tapping is exclusively used for 1-3 frame link combos, which are mostly a SF4 phenomenon. He's pianoing.
WK-WK = double tapping
WK-MK = pianoing

@tuber52 Depending on the circumstance, it's either pianoing or just to keep his (internal) rhythm (i.e., if he's just thrown a DP and is just killing time while the character is out of his control). Pianoing was around long, long, long before plinking - [DP motion] + WP/MP/FP = six chances to get a DP (once on button-down, once on button-up).
Sirlin is good no doubt but the Boy Daigo is on some other worldly shit. While Sirlin was worried about fixing shit he wanted to in SSF2HD to give edges he should've be trying to figure out how to keep Daigo off his ass.
