@MegaTight011 being an ex addict and drug experimenter I can tell u he def is not on acid as that tends to mess with hearing and seeing & not performance conducive (I've tried myself). I would imagine its something more traditional like cocaine,heroin, or any prescription derivitive. But if he was on anything heavy like acid he wouldn't be able to act well. I once played a show on acid. Piano keys made only one sound: "neart" I couldn't hear the notes I was playing bc of the acid

It actually wasn't a fake handicap. Torgo was supposed to be a Satyr, the appearance of a handicap came from the uncomfortable prosthetics the actor had to wear to achieve the image of half man half goat. The pain from the prosthetics was so hard to endure that the actor ended up becoming addicted to pain killers and took his own life a month before Manos was released.
Quite sad really. At least he didn't have to endure watching the film.
