You dont have to tow to get it hot Enough to burn out. Once it goes in regen drive above 30mph for 20-30mins its cleaned. Get on the highway drive & its done.

The problem is SOME OF US, eehheemm, are under the false illusion that only a "man" can be mechanically smart. the dpf and egr are just a big waste of money and if it makes the check engine light come one just unplug the damn sensor and peg the egt gauge every once in a while that will clear all the soot
Remove all that crap and replace it with either a plain muffler or a straight pipe
