Carlie was such a beautiful little girl, and her case makes me so angry. There had to be someone who saw that monster grab her, on the street. Why didn't anyone say or do anything? My heart goes out to the Brucia family.

@xzaxx Joseph Smith has not been executed yet.His SORRY NO GOOD life is still sitting on death row.And I strongley believe in the electric chair in a situation like this one.I unfortunitley knew Joe.He WAS a friend of me and my family at one time.And when we saw the video on the news that evening and them asking if anyone with information -or- recognizes the man on the video to please call.We immediatley recognized who he was and called the T-I-P-S line.THANK GOD we did and he was captured.

I have been crying and crying. I am so sorry for your loss. I was born and raised in Florida. I left as soon as I knew better. in the wrong areas for beautiful girls is very dangerous. I know. This girl will be in my prayers. I promise.

She did not fight back because he was telling her that he was a friend of her moms. but there is another camera in the front that caught him leaving with her in the back of his car and you can see her screaming and trying to get attention.

I did not know Carlie personally, but I will NEVER forget the day this happen to such an innocent little girl. I was at her memorial when they had it in front of the church where she was found. REST IN PEACE CARLIE..... As for Joe, theres only one place you belong and thats in HELL. Lethal injection, or sitting on death row is to easy for you to have to pay. You need to be taken out the same way you took Carlies life. And the BAD thing is Joe was married with 2 or 3 daughters of his own.

i remember this so well i was in first grade posters of her were put up every where ill never forget the video tape i didnt know her personally but my wishes go out to her friends and family and to her may she rest in peace

I'm not going to say he was innocent.

I will say that too many good, innocent people get the death penalty for this kind of thing.

did you knowm in the US o A, urinating within a certain radius of a child, mistakenly or not, is considered attempted rape and sexual battery.

You are then labeled a paedophile for life.

if you are not executed then you are left without a home, without any communication with your children.

you might not die.

too the person who commented she didnt fight back...... carlie was 11 years old... returning from a sleep over......... lets think about her state of mind......... she was most likely in very high spirits good mood......... on her way home to end what would have been probarly a fantasic night to her.. this was a surprise attack... she didnt have time to react.... he was no doubt telling her i will kill you if u dont be quiet.. look at the size of him HES MASSIVE no contest to an 11 yr old ffs
