My old Beaemer going through a ford in surrey back in 2002. Was a 525e LUX with a 2.7 straight six that sucked the fuel. Good job it was only about 60p per ltr then. Loved that car! ahhhh, happy days

By the way your motor looks a beauty. I've managed to get fully comp insurance on classic policy for 3000 miles for £92.40 for a year! Get searching for one straight away b4 the prices go crazy. I'm sure you are aware they have a bit of a following now.

@Domlah222. Thanks, looking forward to getting it although havnt seen it in the flesh yet just on photos and have agreed a price over the phone, hope its not a banger. If it is not worth the cash £1600 ill be looking at the M535 and a stunning condition 1 535i e28 but they are both £5000 each! Bit pricey but the 535i is a show stopper with 83000 on the clock and a gen bmw full service history. The M535 is just mental.

I'm having a 90,000 miler, opal green with green interior(retro) these motors are just fantastic. Drove an m535 e28 yesterday on metric tyres (holy shit) scary car, rapid but cornered like a wardrobe! I'm excited, three days to go for my green machine!
