I have always loved Albert King. I saw him when I was just a kid. Back stage after the show I met him and asked if he needed any roadies. He was amused and smiled and said no, he's got all the help he needs. There was a dude was slipping his shoes off and giving him his slippers. No party, no hanger-ons. Just a silly kid in Nashville looking for a way in. But Rory Gallagher? He fucked this song up! He might be good in his own right but please stay with what you do and leave the masters alone!

this is from Albert King "Live in Montreux". Interesting story... King invited Gallagher to play a couple of numbers with him, but didn't tell Rory what key the songs were in. Gallagher had to ask one of the horn players... "B natural boy " !!!

the first solo on this tune is rory gallager. the second is albert. the horns make this my favorite version.when it starts to swing @ 7:00 , that shit is unreal . on the albert live 69 album there is also an exellent version.
