They use those medieval fantasy fighters all the time in this :-( and they have facts wrong. Denmark was WITH CERTAINTY unified at 800 AD under Godfred. Probably before and possibly even 500 or 600 AD (according to Ulf N¨asman, Hedeager provides tantalising clues that it might have happened even before).
No more watching this for me, just too many faults sadly.

That is not the correct definition of the blood eagle torture! Idiot. What you do is take a sword and hack open the ribs of the person's BACK and pull their LUNGS our of their BACK. As the person tries to breathe the lungs flap around like wings, and inevitably the victim dies.

@ficklefackle sorry to say but your completely wrong with this. It was actually called "blood angel". If your enemy had great respect for you he would give you a death like a blood angel. It was done by cutting open or removing the vertical bone in the middle of your ribs (dunno the name). When that was done he would pull open your chest. The ribs are under great pressure and when you pull the ribs out they would jump open with great force to both sides of the body. The ribs looked like wings
