Who is the cellist? He looks familiar to me.

great vocal!

@drakonimetal. Yes. It means "to meet [accidentally once]" as opposed to встречать, which means "to meet [accidentally on multiple occasions]". Good luck with your studies.
Nice song.

@muuha14 Встретить is the infinitive? I'm learning russian. Привет из Бразилии. =D

So nostalgic, so beautiful, so... Russian. I wished I could understand, but even so, it’s amazing. Thank you for posting it.

@muuha 14. Thank you so much for posting this, and many other beautiful songs by Boris Shtokolov. I recently discovered him on YouTube, and I can't get enough of his wonderful, rich voice, so full of love and expression. I also enjoyed reading your comments about him too. Your English is fine. It isn't a matter of "perfect syntax", but of communication - the most important thing. Your thoughts and intent are clear. I have now subscribed to your channel, and look forward to more!

I agree with you. This is Shtokolov in his prime with wonderful technique. Too bad that they never let him out to sing in the West.

But he sang in the West.
Maybe not often...?
