  • Watermark is visible but distracting because it is blue, but that is just my humble opinion. About the knot, what are some for the uses for it?

  • I changed the watermark so that it has no border (blue) and has an opacity of 50% (semitransparent). You'll be able to see it in next weeks video.

The knot can be used as a decorative way to establish lateral loops ("wings") for connection. Such loops are useful when creating harness, webbing and lifting wraps for irregular and/ or regular objects.

  • Ok to answer the unasked question of how does my watermark look. It lookgs good. Now For the question of this knot...would it take a load of any kind at the loops? Yea I could tie it and test it for myself.

  • The loops can bare a light load (less than or equal to 20 lbs). If the load is uneven or excessive the loops could buckle. If you're looking for load bearing loops you may wish to use a Spanish bowline instead.

  • Sorry dude, thats not a watermark! Thats a Logo. You need to make it black & white, grayscale it and fade it.

    ....Love your channel

  • does it look good made out of ribbon?... which knots do? :D

  • I never knew of an agreed name for this one neither , apart from it being the Ashley's #2434.

But that sounds way less poetic :p

BTW, thanks for your very interesting series, I will definitely stay tuned.

  • The watermark was a little large and distracting. Maybe making it 50% semitransparent will fix this as you are going to try.

Cool knot. It'll look good worked into a chest harness.

  • Was that Miles Davis playing?

  • I like the idea of watermarks and look forward to the modified one.

Thanks for the explanation of how to use the knot.
