  • LMAO @ 5:29

    HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • true

i haven't seen SKMZ battle in awhile, with them making movies and shit

  • these bboys are really creative

but id say it was skill methodz

if it was the whole skill methodz crew battle monkeys wouldnt have a chance

  • i think i am mixing up foundation with something else. Battle monkeys have the areas of my foundation: dance, footowork and freezes.

the style i like is people who practice and not just make it as they go. You say beating riding with sloppy basic movements is style but doing creative clean sets that make the bboy unique are not.

Not trying to flame i cant seem to break the barrier my mind has built. Obviously triple threat are ill they win battles and so do other crews like them

  • Triple Threat has a dope foundation. They rock the beat and you can't predict them. Judging a bboy by their moves is stupid. Style beats moves all day, and that was a style discussion.

  • all right jump in for the hell of it! BM has had years of moves, its okay that they use the same ones because its from a collection years. Doknock used to have mad footowork on the ground but doesn't do so much these days. i think its because bboys get older and their bodies don't move as limber as they used to.

And on another note if you don't like repeated moves you definately shouldn't be into triple threat. Its like watching first generation rocksteady

  • I feel you, but I'm talking about routines, the rehearsed stuff that has less to do with rocking a beat. Ness can do the same moves because he rocks the beat so hard and adapts (FLAVA). That's where he surprises and makes his dancing enjoyable. None of that in the routines I'm talking about. When I talk of Do Knock's "sets" I mean his chains of signatures that only have a few order variations. Difficult? Yes. Still as exciting after all this time as when he did them many years ago? Meh.

  • We are talking about two different things. You can do the same moves but put them together differently and also add a few new moves. Take Alienness he has been running the same moves for how long? You feel me bro?

  • Yes, dance (art) is subjective, but eventually, you have to evolve your moves and bring something that surprises people. Isn't that a great part of art, when it's new and you first see it, and it blows your mind and you just wanna yell GODDAMN!? When I've seen a routine 20 times, it doesn't do that for me anymore.

  • true but doesn't that depend on the eyes of the person viewing? And since that is true creative would also lose it's meaning if you've seen it too many times. Do you see what i'm saying here it doesn't matter the catergory but as a whole.
