the "didelu tideldu" at 2:20 destroyed it for me.
the "du du du du" gave it the kiling shot.
and yeah: Fuck that civilization-is-like-all-video
-games-about-killing lady. I get the feeling that Bab Yetu being the lord's prayer makes all the killing good in her eyes.

this is rather atrocious.

@bernie23232323232323 - Most African choirs choreograph heavily when they sing hymns and prayers. This was actually pretty subdued.

too fast! felt rushed, slow down at the beginning and build up slowly, i'm sorry you killed it for me

@Beandude202 Really eh? And "Like all video games"? Typical old person. XD
-
@jaymixdorf You don't have to be, but it definitely helps...
-
"It involves things like killing." Way to miss the point of the game. FFS.

@jaymixdorf This.

Man.. first off, this song should not be choreographed, the aesthetics and power of this song stand on its own. Dancing was just lame. Cute attempt to characterize Civ 4 as a violent game and lump it in with 3D shooters that drive kids to homicide when they hit puberty, but fail. War and peace exists in Civ 4 depending on your strategy, and the entire game is based on thought and strategy. Also, the Lord's Prayer was borne from civilization, and civilization historically entailed war (go figure)
Civ IV, unlike many other games is NOT about killing. In fact you don't have to at all. Its about building and nurturing a civilization through time. You can win by building wonders, diplomatic relations, cultural influence... War is just an option. Though an option often chosen. Like real life (history). Love the song =)

Not to play the troll here, but replacing the vocals with "du du du" sort of killed the song for me here, aside from that prejudiced lady can go fuck off, and on a positive note, SICK uniforms guys.
