Thompson River Canyon is a realistic N scale model railroad layout that highlights the rugged mountain regions the Canadian National trains pass through. Filmed at the 2009 Caulfield AMRA exhibition.

This layout was owned and constructed by Rod Warren and Vic Fitzpatrick, with John Colliver and Noel Purdey offering assistance with the layout wiring. The layout is the featured article in the Nov / Dec 2010 edition of N Scale Railroading, with an 8 page article and cover picture featuring the layout.

Rod Warren had his home layout "Santa Fe on the plains in N scale" featured in the October 2009 issue of Model Railroader magazine.
