Champions for a Cause is a 501c3 non-profit that raises funds for area causes. Currently the mission is to raise funds and awareness to fight breast cancer.
University of Tennessee Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Holly Warlick and UCLA Head Women's Basketball Coach and former Tennessee Assistant Coach Nikki Caldwell are the founders of Champions for Cause.
Since 2007, they have raised nearly $100,000 through Cruisin' for a Cause, a long-haul motorcycle adventure to raise dollars and awareness for a cure for breast cancer.
Champions for a Cause includes several events throughout the year and is generously supported by organizations like the University of Tennessee Medical Center, WVLT-TV, SmithBilt LLC and Stanfill Development Group.
To promote breast cancer awareness and raise money to fight this disease. Caldwell and Warlick chronicled their cross-country rides on their website, www.championsforacause.org.
