Alexandra Burke - Start Without You - live - Children In Need - 19th November 2010

Ever since she took the crown of The X Factor winner back in 2008, Alexandra Burke has gone on to storm the UK with hit after hit after hit. After beating out fellow boyband JLS on the reality TV singing competition, Burke went on to release a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", and with "Hallelujah", topped the UK Singles Chart for the very first time. After going on tour with the other X Factor contestants, she begun work on her debut album "Overcome" which stormed the UK Albums Chart and eventually sold over 600, 000 copies in the UK alone.

The album was preceded by the club/pop/R&B stomper "Bad Boys" which featured prolific American rapper Flo Rida which hit the UK Singles Chart again. Burke then went on to release "Broken Heels", which hit #8 on the UK Singles Chart. Burke then roped in Pitbull for her album's third official single "All Night Long", which stormed the Top 4 of the UK Singles Chart. Returning to the studio to record new material for a deluxe edition of "Overcome" to be released December 6th, Burke released "Start Without You" with assistance from Laza Morgan. With Laza Morgan, Burke topped the charts yet again. Her brand new single is titled "The Silence", but Burke took to Children In Need to deliver another fantastic performance of "Start Without You".
