Video taken of the lead plane which is followed by the bomber dropping surfactant on the Hardy Fire on June 19, 2010 in Flagstaff, AZ. I am standing on the APS Power Line ROW just west of the Rio De Flag, about 1/2 mile south of I-40 and 1/2 mile southwest of Little America Hotel. Bulldozers were busy plowing line around Little America Hotel while the bomber dropped surfactant on the flank of the fire, which is just south of the hotel, to slow it's spread towards the hotel and the adjacent Sinclair Truck stop. This was the northern flank of the fire which was burning northeasterly and being driven by high winds which were gusting up to 30 MPH. Temperature and humidity @ the Flagstaff Airport ( 2 miles SW of location) at the time of the video: 76 degree, 12%, dew point: 20 degrees.
