  • Diggin the Ratt tunes, the Charvel always reminds me of Warren DiMartini. He was an 80s/90s badass. Nice vid!

  • Hey, not only are Charvels still great guitars, but it's refreshing to see one that DOESN'T have a Tone-Sucking Floyd on it!!! In fact, the reason this one sounds so punchy is because it has a standard Fender type bridge. Those EVH3 Heads sound pretty wicked too. Peace. -dave

  • @borntorun1970 that tone comes more from the amp and the guitar's woods than it does from the vibrato. If you get a dense enough wood, you'll add enough mass to the guitar to over-come the loss of tone that comes with the floyd rose. also, eddie van halen specifically designed the amp to provide good tone even with a floyd rose. that head is a beast. there's a lot of things involved, not just the bridge.

  • @xx2n23 MARK!

  • The EVH 5150 III is awesome!

When you play it, you can´t stop, probably you stop when you´re starving or dying of thirst.

Your girlfriend gets jealous, if you have one!

  • thats some thick riffage

  • bravo!!!

  • @borntorun1970 How does a Kahler "help" transfer and resonate clarity? It's like a metal afghan on top of the guitar. I've played plenty of guitars with a Kahler and they were thin, pingy and did have any warmth to them. It's like playing the chambered Gibson's that are so light they're dead feeling and feel like a toy. I even owned 2 guitars with Kahlers and they were the worst sounding of my guitars. For the best tone and feel, less is more. So a stop tail piece or vintage vibrato is the way.

  • @Vomitore You must be listening too too much bad loud music like Insane Clown Posse and your hearing is compromised. Not only is what I say agreed upon by many people but you don't even need to HEAR it to tell the difference. You can play 1 Chord and feel the guitar vibrate and resonate more clearly because there's a better transfer of string energy. But that's ok, I'm sure you're not interested in an intelligent discussion of Guitar Vibratos. Keep on enjoying your "Bass/Sustain minimizer" .

  • @borntorun1970 The ultimate tone suckers are Kahlers!

  • Absolute gorgeous guitar. I'll take a free one to demo for you guys. Doesnt have to be a high end model. The best strat necks ever.

  • ppl have to be careful with cloning sound. Ive been noticing lately that every1 has this recto sound or marshall sound. why I dont get it. There are so many amps out there that have such radicle sounds and unique...I just hate to see another video of another guy with a recto or marshall stack. not theres anything wrong with it. Im just saying enough. find some other sounds.
