I am helping you to hear Jesus in the many ways He speaks. It's Him who is seeking fans all over the world (I am His fan), Isaiah 52:10.

I want you to begin to hear Christ in all the ways He speaks and when you open your ears up, seeking Him, you will.

One note: Balance all you hear against what God has already told you through His Word and through His world because He does test you and the devil tries to trick you, so this is something that can only be led and understood as the Holy Spirit guides you. It can't be taught.

I did not put scripture by all the lyrics because most is self explanatory. Also, if you are born to blossom, you will blossom. If you bloom to perish, that's a full blown decision to reject Jesus because that's the only way that happens, because you either accept Him as Lord and Savior or you do not. It's up to you.

Now, in Gwen's song she is also speaking of how you are born to do great things and you can instead choose not to. So by "perish" she means you just fail to act upon what you could have and lose a great life. Which would go with this scripture:

Isaiah 48:18 "If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Both realities are true.

The main point of this song is to be courageous and act and go take the land the Lord is giving you. Ignore everyone who tells you otherwise and I mean everyone. Your pastor is not Jesus. Jesus is Jesus. Jesus is Lord. He is your Shephard, not your pastor. If God says "Go" then you go. There is no middle ground.

What about "Take a chance you stupid hoe?" If that's what it takes to get you to act and someone says, "Now, you really should get up" and they don't get you to move but then another person says, "Take a chance you stupid hoe" and they get you to do the Lord's will, who did the Lord's will? I will tell you who. The person who said, "Take a chance you stupid hoe", that's who.
