i think this song works perfect up until about the middle of season 7. i think then is when lorelai realizes what a huge mistake she has actually made. but i have to say you did an amazing job with making this song work with them, i never believed it would, but it did :)

It blew up and caused a massive uproar. In 2006 the Chicks released the album "Taking The Long Way" which comprised songs all written by the Chicks about what happened.
You should watch "Shut Up & Sing", it's a doco about the events that went down. It's brilliant and totally explains "Not Ready To Make Nice".

I compromised with myself and did a Lorelai video to Everybody Knows instead. I decided it was perfect for Lorelai...and I got to do an angle and use some scenes I rarely use. :)

I shouldn't be laughing, but I am because I have thought time and again about making this into a L&L video, but my knowledge of the songs real meaning always kept me from thinking it was doable. Well I was wrong. Even with the lines that don't fit 100%, it worked pretty well. Good job. :)

You know, I was pretty worried about that too! Being a massive fan of the Chicks I was sceptical that it would make sense...but it did! It's the best song, lyrically, that I've ever heard! KUDOS to the girls for writing a song about what happened!!

I don't think I could ever get sick of hearing this song, or watching this vid either! You always have a way to fit the music to the clips perfectly, I LOVE IT!!!
