awannabewriter, let me ask you , do you really think eagles wings protect the woman. Of is this symbolic lang. around half of the book of Revelation has its roots in the Old Testament and one has to be very careful with symbolic lang.

i do not believe that America is in the Bible in Revelation. the beast was Nero , What did the early church think of what they were reading from the letter of Revelation?

America IS in the Bible. Didn't you read about the Eagle's wings which broke off from the lion in Daniel 7? Or what about the Eagles Wings in Revelation 12 which protect the woman?

i appreciate the insight you shared, but I must disagree.
1. The plucked wings of Daniel 7 is talking about the first world empire represented by King Neb. and his Babylonian kingdom.
2. Putting America in Rev. 12 is over-stretching the text beyond recognition.
