In partnership with http://www.FaveCrafts.com , I am pleased to present this video on how to fix frayed ends! For more free craft projects, video tutorials and craft tips, visit www.FaveCrafts.com .

When you get frayed ends, whether it be with hemp cording or some other type of cording, you know how annoying it can be to slide on beads. That is why I will show you two ways you can fix frayed ends and can get on with your beading!

Keep in mind that you will need about an inch extra cording for each project you do if you are going to use these methods. That is because you'll need to cut off the ends at the end of your project. (Who wants tape on their bracelet?!?)

Solution #1:
• Nail polish

Solution #2:
• Tape
• Scissors

» Instructions «

Solution #1
• Brush on a tiny amount of nail polish to your frayed end. Shape the end into a point by rubbing the cording with your fingers.

Solution #2:
• Take a small piece of tape and fold it over the frayed end. Rub the tape with your fingers to secure it. Cut the excess tape, keeping very close to the cording.

  • love your vids and the way you instruct;) very nice, keep up the great work, i am looking to make the chan luu style bracelets and any light you can shed for instruction on that style of bracelet would be greatly appreciated!!!!;););O)

  • @karen77777vegas The Chan Luu style bracelets are very pretty. I will definitely add that project to my videos-to-make list. :)

  • I used the tape technique before but the nail polish sounds better.

  • @naturegirl0415 I like the nail polish better, too! It's quick and easy, but you just need to wash your hands afterward! ;)
