Why are so many people hostile to Amiga fans its just a hobby, I dont go around train spotter or other users groups saying it sad give it up, move on etc, this is my hobby, this is the machine I like to use and see be kept update even if it never makes a come back i dont care, these vids I just did for a bit of fun, the reason I still use an Amiga is because I still have fun on it, so tell why its such a problem that me and a few other people still have fun on an old computer.

  • @amigang

Dude, you're calling other people hostile to Amiga fans whilst commenting on a video where you gun down people representing the Mac and PC. What makes that okay, exactly?

  • @blahdelablah LOL you raise a good point! But like said the video is just a bit of fun if you taken it seriously and you actually think I would gun down Mac and PC users. you need help.

  • @drbilly100 Just show you how much you know. New hardware is on the way, Beta boards are starting to ship, AmigaOS4.1 is getting more updates, Open Office and Firefox are being ported, various other games and software title haven been ported or being worked on, we may be a small community but where a very active one. So the amiga is not dead, Get over it!

  • @maragaram Yeah the gell capacitors in PC's seem to have a built in time bomb, about 2-3 years.

    My own comps, C64 - 27 years, C128 - 25 years, Amiga 500 - 22 years, Amiga 1200 - 16 years all still used on a daily basis, work without problems.

  • @maragaram I agree with you, I'm just pointing out that you said we'd reading this in black in white while we actually read this in black and white.

  • @Nohus903 right, but any computer does some ridiculous resolution now. Everybody want more colors and higher res; when the Amiga came out with 4096 colors and the competition was 16 color or b/w... We had Mac and PC users waiting outside our door in the morning before we opened ... d'oh! There's a difference between technological superiority and marketing superiority, unfortunately for Commodore. I can see you've spent a lot of time on the Dark Side.

  • @maragaram 16 colors? B&W? You know that your text is black on white background anyway, right?

  • @drbilly100 Hey dude, are you affraid of something? Do you work for Microsoft corporation? So... shut the hell up!

  • It says a lot for the machine that I, an IT professional, still yearn for the amiga way of doing things every god damned day.

  • hardcore :) Good that You've censored it ;)

  • maybe it's because he thinks mac and pc suck, which they generally do, even if they are dominant. if the mac and pc had gone through the shiite the amiga has in the last 25 years, you'd be reading this in 16 colors, or b&w. why can i buy a brand new mega-uber-ghz-hd-ram pc at work and the thing lasts a month, but an a3000 from 1991 still works every day. there's something wrong with this picture. plus, these vids are supposed to be funny, i think, where's your sense of tumor? sorry, steve-o. XO
