  • I may be deemed a troll but I'm sincere - speaking as a Scouser, Liverpool is best when it lets the Beatles - and that bloody Pacemakers song - go! Beautiful shoreline, plenty of great (original) music, truly excellent pubs and a warm welcome. I think the Merseybeat tourist industry is the city's black bruise, might bring people in but if they missed the rest they just haven't seen Liverpool, and theres plenty chance cos of the "Cavern Quarter" they'll miss plenty of off-beat Beatles landmarks.

  • @JapeUK OK. If you have a look at some of my other Liverpool videos, you'll see that I've covered a lot more than just the Beatles.

  • My Mom is from Liverpool and lived through the Battle of Britain. She told me how awesome and friendly the people are in Liverpool and if you are like my Mom you are great! She Lives in Wisconsin USA now where I am from and tells me that we are just like Liverpoolians. That makes me proud of Liverpool and Wisconsin. We also have a beloved Football Team. The Green Bay Packers, Root for us we are in the Superbowl. Go Pack Go!

  • @OutBakDecks1 - Thank you for your comment. I love Liverpudlian people as they are very warm and friendly and have a great sense of humour. There are many people from Liverpool who have Irish roots. I'm half Irish and half Welsh, but born and bred in London. I like to think I have traits from Ireland, Wales and England. If you haven't been to Liverpool, I hope you will go there some time. You would receive a very warm welcome, I'm sure.

  • Im born and bred in Liverpool I love my city and most of the friendly ppl there. I live across the Mersey near New Brighton the last 31 years but miss my old town. The pics etc you did are really great.Thank you.

  • @minipo48 Apologies for the late reply. I've only just discovered your comment as I wasn't notified of it by email. I know what you mean about friendly people in Liverpool. It's what I like best about the city, although there is plenty to see and do too. I'm pleased that you like the photos. :)
