Filmmaker Jacob Rosenberg shows how the capabilities of Adobe and high performance the new Intel Core i7 desktop processor allows him to swiftly compile a combination of HD video formats in a slickly enhanced skateboard video compilation.
This was stupid. Oh.. an I7 can playback an hd clip without studdering... oh good christ jump for joy. It better damn well playback the clip and several others with effects and not stutter or the program is a POS.
I'm just waiting for Cineform and Blackmagic to update their software so we can use it on CS4 already. Been waiting forever. I'll wait until they also get around support SSE4 before jumping on Core i7 (Nehalem). Westmere shrink should around end of the year?
Effects utilize the multi-threading capabilities of the i7 Quad Core? Seems like overkill if the software cant take advantage of the multi-threading power of these new CPUs.
Why is the audio based off of the left speaker?

Looks more like Crysis to me, and they always use Crysis to show off their hardware. Would be nice if that game was actually a little longer... :(

if you want something more professional, than get one of the Intel Xeon 5500 series processors coming out in Q1 2009.
