  • Thank you for sharing. We rarely get up close and personal as you did without some kind of destruction. Great control of your camera. I would have been shaking with excitement.

  • OMG. IT'S NOT A FUCKING OWL GUYS! D:

  • Tail is also too broad

  • The wing tips, tail, and head are NOT of an owl. Those are colored feathers, not sonar disks around its eyes.

Larger owls have ear tufts, only tyto and athene have smooth heads, and are much smaller than this bird anyway.

The striped tail is dead hawk giveaway.....

  • nice buts its an owl

  • nicee buts its an owl

  • Its a Hawk. Betting my life on that. A Harrier. No doubt. One killed my Dachshund 2 yrs ago. Lifted him like 20 ft. in the air and dropped him.

  • Harriers are ground nesting hawks. They resemble owls because they have facial discs like owls, allowing them to locate prey the way owls do, by hearing. Next time a bird does this to you, please don't film it, just walk carefully out of there. And they sometimes nest in groups, so don't think that just because you've avoided one nest that there are no others.

  • @jmdavis5 lol how did this comment get 15 thumbs up it looks nothing like an owl i mean even if all u could see was its tail you would know its not an owl
