  • Thank you for your authenticity. Horton Foote sets his most famous plays in "Harrison" Texas. There actually is a Harrison, Texas. It is in East Texas out near Nacogdoches. But the "Harrison" , Texas of his plays is actually based on his hometown of "Wharton", a whole lot further west and south of the actual and real "Harrison". Since Tracy is from Durant, and the actual location of the play matters diddly squat, I lept to the assumption that it might more reflect Durant, where Tracy grew up.

  • the play is set in Pawhuska which is not a fictional town.

  • Ha, the costume lady looks like she's going to stab him! 'Stop talking, dammit...'

  • Odd that Jeff Perry is the "behind the scenes" spokes person for the play. He was the least believable and most miscast actor in the play. Doesn't matter what his "back story" was. Everybody on the stage was working hard to get the Durant, Oklahoma thing down but Jeff. It was either Chicago or St. Louis, but it damn sure wasn't Durant, Oklahoma. (I know the play is set in another ficticious town, it's Durant).

  • Does anyone know when the national tour dates and cities will be announced?
