Georgia State Representative Roger Bruce (d) HD 64 with the help of community leaders, clubs, game and fish organizations along with corporate donors (AT&T, Greystone, GA Power, Miller-Zell, The Poultry Association, Atlanta Restaurant Association along with SW the Cub and Boys Scouts, SW Atlanta District, make this event a joy for elementary and middle school children to fish at the lake. Roger gets 2,000 cat fish to stock the small lake so every child that can will catch a fish or two that day. 2011 will make 9 years this event has been held for the children of his district which includes Lithia Springs in Douglas County Georgia and SW Fulton County and parts of the City of Atlanta.
