I'm an ardent Liverpool fan but admire Henry. What a fantastic player. The amount of times he did us drove me mad. We'd be winning or drawing and then i'd look back and he'd of scored, destroying Carra on the way! Lost a little respect over the handball, but with with time I only remember him for one thing. Being class. The early mid 00's you couldnt get near him or Arsenal.

I never liked football. I was just never that into it, especially living in the US. One day by chance I saw him play, it was against Liverpool in the Unbeaten season where he scored a hat-trick. It was majestic, magical. He flowed it was art. I was addicted. I continued to watch Thierry and become a supporter of Arsenal. I played football everyday, I found a passion. I am now in my first year of college pursuing a dream to become a sports writer and move to Europe. My hero, my inspiration.

I'm an Arsenal fan, but Thierry made the right move to go to Barcelona. He gave Arsenal his best years. He led them to a near perfect season in the premier league with an unbeaten record that had not been achieved for over 100 years. He led Arsenal to the brink of CL success. Then he had the chance to go to Barca and play with Ronaldinho. And alongside Messi and Eto, he won six major trophies in a season in 08/09. No other club has done that. Apart from Fifa WP award, he won everything! Winner!

henry, you left us for barcelona.. tss, that destroyed ur carrier. we've seen players leave sooo many times, most of them never success again, you never came up in your standards again. play for the team you love, no matter if you win things or not.
