VEGAS KEEP DESTROYING ALL THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING. THEY CAN'T LIVE IN HENDERSON OR SUMMERLIN IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE.

I THINK IT'S A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS ESPECIALLY AMERICANS. WE GIVE BILLIONS TO OTHER COUNTRIES EVERY YEAR AND OUR OWN AMERICANS HERE ARE SLEEPING ON THE STREETS.

america or china poverty has no borders

@37361811 The Republican gave billions of $ to the oil companies when they don't really need it.

The way i look at it, in 2006 I was interveiewd by Henderson,s newspaper and told my side of my story on why I was homeless I started out by saying it was my fault that I was homeless.that I had made a big mistake moveing in to Las Vagas, and said that the future did not look good for Las Vagas ,when there would be a time when there would be no job,s unempoyment would be high and everyone would be for them selve,s nobody know,s when it might be there child or loveone who ends up homeless .

I'm sure it's because there is no oil or dictators in Vegas...

thank you my brother is a very good example to those who think the U.S.a is a paradise

These people need to go to their family members or friends than staying in tent cities. There are jobs out there, but not the kind of money to be able to survive on. If you have a college degree, then you have no excuse for not getting a job. College grads will not settle for less, especially when it comes to washing dishes or scrubbing toilets.

@505mcasias Sorry but these people are not bums! I lived in Las Vegas for 10 years. From 2007 to 2009 we had it rough. In fact My brother and I had such hard luck getting jobs and after a roommate took off with our money we were left homeless. If it hadn't been for family letting us stay with them we would have been in "tent city". These people are not bums...they are families who had jobs and are capable of working but couldnt get anything because there was nothing to get

Using a camera to tell the story of homelessness will not stop people from choosing to be homeless. Read the book Poverty is a Choice: how and why millions turn their backs on the American dream.
Obama just gave 100 million dollars to Haiti! What about our own people on the streets.
