  • Roaring and hot, and what a parade of pretty girls! The prettiest, of course, are the last two: Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.

  • I agree! Look at Jack Lemmon's legs! Wow! She IS a cutie!

  • Wonderful! One of the few recordings that allowed the Goldkette musicians to cut loose and show their abilities. Listen to Steve Brown on the string bass - amazing sound for January 1927.

  • I also recognize Venuti's crazy violin

  • One hot band- Joe Venuti on violin?

    Thanks

  • It's a good thing that **** Eddie King left Victor to go to Columbia, but judging by the number of hot Columbias from the late '20s, I'd say they (possibly A&R man Arthur Bergh) kept him out of the way so he wouldn't hinder the artists' potential. Heh heh.

  • Very nice - Le Jazz Hot lol...........
