London Croc Catcher: Safari Pete, crocodile rescue.

Safari Pete was called on by the Ugandan authorities to train wildlife park staff. The aim is to empower local workers to safely catch and relocate animals that are posing a threat to human lives, as well as their own.

In a climate of panic and fear, conflicts are common and there are victims on both sides. Pete firmly believes that training local officials to independently capture and relocate problem animals is a direct conservation tool. A tool that will help protect the species against "mob kills", trophy hunters and poachers and ultimately to help both populations live peacefully.
