PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING!

This is an extended version of "Snapes Worst Memory" but with a twist. It's actually an edited version of the scene by me. The first part of the video, is the original scene. Once Harry leaves, there is another portion to "Snape's Worst Memory." I wasn't very impressed with the movie version, so I'd thought I'd make it better by having another glimpse of his memories. Mostly focusing on the fact that he was very lonley and the fact that James had won Lily's heart.

FAQ/Responses to Frequent statements;

1. Is this the actual Extended scene?
No, it's a scene where I put the original scene in and added clips to make it an "extended" scene, emphasizing the whole Lily/Snape relationship.

2. Where do the extra clips come from?
They come from tv show "Cold Case" from the episode "Detention" and from the movie "Sky High."

3. Snape is evil.
No he isn't, if you read the books you would know that. If you haven't read the books your bad. So read them. I'm not going to explain to you why he's not evil. It'll spoil everything for you.

4. James bullied Snape?
Yes they did, people that scene the movie should know that especially if you read the books.

5. Snape never getting Lily, isn't why this is Snape's Worst Memory.
I know that, but instead I focused on the main thing that was the worst part of his life, the fact that he became a very lonley man and never got the love of his life, which was Lily. Also his actions in the book (calling her a mudblood) is the main reason why these actions happened in the first.

6. James picking on Snape (in general).
James picked on Snape. Snape fought back with words or whatever he could think of as well as James. Boys will be boys. Neither of them are really the bad guy. At least in my opinion. Though I'm sad that Snape never got Lily, I still think neither of them are really bad guys, nor think their cruel in anyway. It was horrible what James did to Snape, but only did it because he was a Slytherin and had potential to be a death eater.

  • they make james look like such an arse in the movies

the director must have been a snily shipper lol

  • @deadrabbit30 let's look at some of the things James did:

got into Gryffindor, became an animagus to comfort his werewolf friend 1 night a month, bullied people around when he was 15 years old, matured and stopped bullying people, took in his best friend when he ran away, became Head Boy, joined an Order that fought in a war that he could’ve easily stayed out of, defied Voldemort 3 times, married Lily and had a child with her, died protecting both of them.

    what a jerk!

  • I always thought that harry said "POTATO" instead of protego until I read the book lol

  • Also his actions in the book (calling her a mudblood) is the main reason why these actions happened in the first.

  • I'm still unbelievably pissed that they made this scene so short in the film. Why bother casting the actors who played young Lupin and Wormtail if we only see them in the background, and why cast young Lily when you complletely drop the scene where she tells James off?????????????

  • I love the actor who played James in this scene <3 He looks exactley how I imagined him in the books!

  • @daleksvscybermen James was also 15 years old when he bullied Snape. His bullying Snape isn't the true focus of the incident anyway, the incident is significant to Snape for encompassing all the pain of his life in one example, and significant to Harry because he could no longer view his dead father as perfect. It demonstrated James' flawed humanity for its own sake.

  • snape is awesome and cool we need to respect snivillus oops severus

  • @lilmissybyebye not at the start

he was the one who told voldemort about the prophecy

  • @maybriri BUT... He was a double agent, more loyal to Dumbledore than Lord Voldemort.

  • @daleksvscybermen And considering that Sirius's idea of growing up means being outright cruel to Kreacher, what must James have been like? I do think that Snape did somewhat care for Harry, but did his best not to show it.

  • I think Snape was a better person than Snape. Snape's treatment of certain students was outright horrible and inexcusable, but at least his motivations were understandable. What was James motivation for bullying snape? He was in a different house. The period between the 'Mudblood' incident and Snape joining Dumbledore was Snape at his worst, whilst James supposedly 'grew up'. And who said he 'grew up'? Sirius, James BEST MATE.
