2011 MazdaSpeed3 Walk around Different Features from 2010

This is just a quick walk around of the changes Mazda made to the 2011 model MazdaSpeed3 (tech package) vs the 2010. Everything else is the same on the car, but they added: HIDs with the AFS system (they turn with your steering wheel), LED tail lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, auto-on headlights and about $620 to the MSRP of the tech package.

@cezar1113 I'm sure! Hey, another thing I didn't realize the 2011 has over the 2010 is a temperature light. I think you have a blue light that goes out when the engine is warmed up. I have no temp gauge or indicators which is 92% fail.

@80Fantasma like i said, ddm makes good kits, troll any ms3 forum and see how they receive you.. they're only ghetto if you get blue/purple 6k+, I went 5k fogs and headlights.. the cutoff of the stock projectors is perfect. it doesn't look "rice" at all and no one is blinded. I'm not saying they're better than the 2011 setup, but they look damn near OEM and perfectly clean.

Add in the LED tails, intake, exhaust, tune, tint and i'm still coming in under price of your candy-ass stock 2011

The fact is cheap Hids do not Compare to Factory if your content in having Ghetto Hids which blind oncoming traffic and put you in the category of stupid ricers and all those ghetto civics having them, all the power to you, you don't have to justify your purchase to me. The tech package is more then Just Hid's and worth the 27K msrp, most pay 22-24 though. I'm just telling it how it is and the fact is OEM Hids< Ghetto Hids.

@80Fantasma ddm kits are inexpensive.. but not cheaply made.  the 2010 projectors are great for the upgrade and most people think its a 2011. fact remains, 23500 msrp vs. 27+ I fail?

OEM hids with Hid Projectors> Cheap Hid Kit WIth Halogen Projectors... You fail... not even close.

It's about damn time they gave the new speed3 all the bells and whistles. Sure you can get an HID kit and aftermarket tails LED tails, but the active lighting is just way freaking cool.

hahah I got a 2010 and spent $400 for LED tails from corksport and $50 for HIDs from DDMTuning. Easy to install, fraction of the cost. Save your money and don't get the lousy tech package, for find a leftover 2010 if there are any left!
