@anapao89: Unfortunately, there are people who won't quiet down for these tours. My understanding is that there were some who actually died while in solitary confinement. Thank you for stopping by (BIG smiles)!

That is so rude! being a close place like that and having people so loud while the tour guide is talking! I hate that.. not only for the tour guide but also for others that really want to listen! Anyways, I'm so against solitary confinement it's just another way to toture people in a "legal" way

I have been to the old prison, uh...let's see...I'd guess about 4 times. There is more than the prison there. There are museums and other points of interest. Thank you for visiting!

how often do you come here?

Hey asshole! Yeah you frontier33! Was this like going to the zoo for you? Have you heard of the term "human dignity"? Guess not, cause these are "evil criminals" as you probably explained to your small child.

@gortutay: If we had gone to the zoo, we probably would have seen you there...in the gorilla cage! You're really something else!!! No worries. I'll leave your nasty comment here for all to see that you made your nice little point!

worse than capital punishment by far. it's so horrible and torturously unbearable the death penalty would simply be a convenient end to this form of living hell.

@1estradajoe: It is pretty bad, for sure. Thank you so much for your visit (BIG smiles)!

I will never go there at night......*shudders* There is enough talk in South Carolina about this kinda stuff. I did go on a Charleston ghost tour and that scared me half to death. I went to the old prison in Charleston. I have to admit though, it was a very thrilling experience and if you ever have a chance to go on one, go. You will get your moneys worth

@Meeperish: Hi there and thank you for stopping by! I will never go on a 'ghost' hunt. I believe that sort of thing is dangerous. Whenever I go to the prison, I am there to enjoy the history of it, as well as see the various museums that are on the property. I have my own theory about ghosts/poltergeists. Thanks again for stopping by (BIG smiles)!
