Some 3,500 Canadians protested on the steps of the Canadian Parliament Steven Harper 's decision to shut down the government for two months. Trevor Strong of the Arrogant Worms came up from Kingston to play this new song. Will Canada's first Face Book facilitated protest turn into a movement? Time for a change? That other Wild Prorogeur often mentioned was Charles I. Oh great! There I was, one of the only decedents of Col. Daniel Axtell in Canada. Daniel was Captain of the Parliamentary Guard at the trial of the King, and while on the right side for democracy, was at the wrong place, lost his head too. Wake up Canada, it's time to give this government the axe. Good audio and the grainy image gives you a bit of that 60s feeling.
