I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANY INFO ON PTSD AND THE PRISON SYSTEM,JUVENILE SYSTEM,THE CONSEQUANCES OF BEING TAKIN FROM YOUR FAMILY AT THE AGE OF 14 YEARS OLD PUT IN JUVENILE HALL IN SAN LEANDRO,CA. FOR 4 YEQRS,GOING TO AND FROM BOYS HOMES AND INSTITUTIONS,HAVING TO SURVIVE AS A JUVENILE WITHOUT BEING BEATIN OR KILLED, PEER PRESSURE IN SCHOOL BEING CALLED NAMES,PEOPLE LAUGHING AT YOU THEN GOING TO PRISON WHERE YOU SEE DEATH EVERYDAY,PEOPLE TRY TO KILL YOU YOU BECOME AN ANIMAL,WE ARE THE OITHERS

you can be an atheist and work a 12 step program. your higher power can be the group of people in the aa or na meeting. it doesnt have to be a godlike being.

Being an atheist doesn't have to prevent one from being spiritual. Reason can only get you so far in this life.

How does an atheist go about utilizing a 12 step program? Not one that has lost faith but one that has an academic understanding that there is no god?
