Jake Grieves Cook explains how he has started the wildlife conservancy projects in Kenya. Leasing land from the Maasai and setting up ecofriendly camps, where tourists can go on undisturbed gamedrives, without being surrounded by tourist busses, he not only pays rent to the local community but employs many of them to work as guides and in his camps. The local community therefore benfits and have stopped harrasing wildlife which attack their domestic herds.
